Easy projects for children to do.
Well, you don't have to be a child of course...it's just that these are fun things to make that are also very quick!
When I do craft workshops with children we need something produced at the end of the time which can be proudly taken home like a trophy.
I always like to keep a stock of things from which I can rustle up a last minute gift or make a lovely card for someone.
Faced with a zillion cards on shop shelves, I'm always astonished I can never find the perfect one I'm looking for.
I guess it's because they never express the love ~ but a home made gift or card, even if it's a little imperfect, if made with someone special in mind has thought, love and care woven into it that it's irresistible.
So here's some quick, reasonably cheap and very easy ideas for simple gifts, jewellery and cards.
Grab the kids and have a craft afternoon, what you make and give away will be treasured more than diamonds.

Have a Very Happy and Creative Month!! ~ Dee x

This 7 x 5 whitewood frame came from a charity shop, price 50p.
Raid your local charity shops for any frames which don't have bevelled wood. What you want is something nice and flat. Mind you, they are themselves very easy to construct. Look in pound shops and boot fairs for any flat frames and keep a stock of them. They are always handy.

All I've done here is stuck on some of my polymer clay tiles. Use either UHU or PVA.  You don't need to prime the frame first.
The effect is stunning, I haven't kept to the inner rectangular shape and it looks like a fantastic designer frame.
Personally, I wouldn't put a photo in here, the frame is the focus and a photo would be lost.

I'd put either a hand written personal message on lovely creamy paper, or maybe just a bit of vintage jewellery and leave off the glass.

It's simple, quick, neat and eyecatching.
